Discovered the Gong in 1992 and it was a truly transformational experience!
From that moment on he dedicated his life to sharing his experiences and research into Sound with the world at large.
The Singing Bowls came into his life about the same time and became an integral addition to his work with the Gong.
Aidan is a generous teacher sharing his decades of acquired wisdom alongside his large collection of bespoke Gongs, rare antique singing bowls and a vast selection of Conch Shells. He informs students of the origins of these ancient instruments and teaches how to best use them in Sound Therapy.
Don Conreaux and Aidan together created the Gong Master Training Course which came to fruition in the UK and is now in its 29th year in 2024.
They have taken this training around the world via Europe, Asia, North and South America ,Australia and New Zealand. They have travelled the globe at least twice together, teaching along the way.
The UK GMT is a rare opportunity to receive the training from both Don and Aidan. This year, 2024, will be Don's last year of teaching in the UK as he is now approaching his 90th birthday. It is perhaps appropriate that the UK being the first country to welcome him and the training will also be the last to receive it from him in person. It will of course continue with Aidan, Tim and the GMT team of very experienced Tutors. The 2025 and 2026 GMT's are already booked at Hawkwood College in Stroud, Gloucestershire.
When not on the road teaching, Aidan has a practice teaching students personally via Zoom or Skype and also offers one-to-one gong therapy sessions and training from his home in the Cotswolds.
Aidan has also created 'The Rotogong' and the ultimate stand 'The Global Gong Stand' which are manufactured locally. Both are available at the trainings or to order.
