David Gibson is the founder and director of the Globe Sound and Consciousness Institute in San Francisco, offering Individual Classes and State approved Certificate and Associates Degree Programs in Sound Healing and Therapy (www.SoundHealingCenter.com) since 1990. David is the author of the top selling book, “The Complete Guide to Sound Healing” (www.CompleteGuidetoSoundHealing). He is also a top selling producer of Sound Healing music (www.SoundHealingCenter.com/music.html), and runs the Sound Therapy Center at the Institute (and online) offering over 15 types of sound healing treatments (www.SoundTherapyCenter.com).
David has produced 3 International Sound Healing Conference and is also the founder of the Sound Healing Research Association (www.GeneOM.com) designed to help bring sound healing into the mainstream (homes & hospitals). David has a unique understanding of how sound and music create deep and lasting effects on the mind, body, and spirit. Having run the largest Sound Healing Institute in the nation for over 15 years (with 25 instructors), and having put on 3 International Sound Healing Conferences, David has developed a complete perspective of everything going on in the field – particularly how sound affects us physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
David’s education in Physics at the University of California at Berkeley gives him a unique basis for understanding and explaining the way that sound affects us physically. He has been exploring the use of binaural beats for brainwave entrainment for over 10 years and has over 30 CD’s that incorporate brain enhancing frequencies in the music. David teaches the Sound Healing overview class at the Institute, which includes classes on releasing stuck emotions with sound, the sound of chakras, and the sound of love. He has come up with a full range of powerful techniques for opening the heart and connecting to spirit using sound and music as catalysts.
David currently has 35 CD’s on the market selling 1000’s per year. The CD catalog includes songs for relaxation, sleep, depression, anxiety, enlightenment, opening the heart, connecting to Spirit, mental clarity, sexual energy, overcoming fear, releasing grief, harmonizing emotions and balancing chakras. David did part of the soundtrack for the movie, “The Living Matrix,” and 2 of his CD’s have quantum healing fields embedded in the music. The embedded frequencies are based on years of research by Nutri-Energetics on the resonant frequencies of morphogenetic fields.
