This is an opportunity to attend a two-day Gong training workshop in London, followed by an all-night Gong Puja ceremony. The Gong Intensive weekend is an in-depth introduction to the gongs and the healing work we do with them, plus attendance at the amazing & potent all-night Gong Puja – a very powerful healing event. Following our very successful and sold-out weekend at The Well Garden in Hackney, north-east London in September 2015, the Well Garden has invited us back to do a longer workshop in the spring of 2016. The Well Garden is a wonderful Alternative Therapy and Yoga Centre which is like a peaceful oasis in this busy part of the capital. They are pleased to be hosting this event over the weekend on April 2nd and 3rd to celebrate the Spring Equinox - the time of year when night and day are of equal duration. ABOUT THE HACKNEY GONG INTENSIVE WORKSHOP The two-day Gong Intensive is an immersion in the Gong teachings for a whole weekend. This weekend Intensive is open to both beginners and those who already play a little, and our work over the two days will be structured according to the needs of the participants. Various gong-related subjects will be covered including learning and practising various techniques. This is an ideal workshop for those who want to kick-start their gong experience and begin their gong journey with expert tuition in the powerful gong space! There will be plenty of opportunity to use many of the different high quality gongs in Sheila’s collection. We will also mention some of the other instruments used in our gong work, & students will learn how to give a simple seated gongbath. Over the two days participants will have ample opportunity to deepen their own personal experience with this powerful healing instrument. There is a deposit option which will save your place. with the remainder due a month beforehand. Early booking is advised as we have limited space in this workshop, which was fully booked last time. ABOUT THE HACKNEY GONG PUJA The Gong Puja ceremony is open to those who have attended the two-day Gong Intensive workshop beforehand. Participants bring their bedding and sleep in the Gong Puja space while the Gongs are played throughout the night, everyone taking a turn. This is a very profound and sacred healing experience, co-created by everyone taking part, and is also a great opportunity for beginner Gong players to participate in a Gong event and meet more experienced members of the Gong community.
