Spain, Complementary Online Kundalini Yoga, Breathwork, Meditation & Sound, Anna Skelton, Complementary Online Classes, 29 May 2020

Join me for three complementary online classes a week. Now is a good time to try new things and if you have never tried Kundalini Yoga, I highly recommend it, particularly at a time like this.

The main reason I love Kundalini Yoga, is that it works! Whilst you are in a class, without even realising it, alongside increasing your mental and physical flexibility, you will be working on your overall vitality, strengthening your immune and glandular system, calming your nervous system, detoxing your organs, opening your heart, improving lung circulation, balancing your hormones, amongst a myriad of other great stuff.

Each class is different and are themed to create different outcomes. As a teacher, I enjoy the creative aspect of designing my classes to suit who is in front of me at any given time - abilities, needs and wants. I also enjoy giving students breath work exercises that resonate with them to take home.

I am missing playing The Gong for a proper Sound Bath, but I have fou

UK, SRATFORD UPON AVON WARKS - Awakening Chakra Energies Through Sound, James D'Angelo, The Lifeways Centre, 30 Albany Road, Stratford upon Avon CV37 6PG, 31 May 2020

James offers vocal toning practices that focus on the transformation of the chakras, comprising many of our psychological attributes – rootedness, creative flow, authority, compassion and communication among others. There is a simplicity to these practices, using only vowels, consonants and seed syllables which enable the participants to easily and effectively draw the chakras towards the optimum rate of whirling. He complements some of the vocal sound with simple Tai Chi-like movements that encourage and direct the sounds. The work is in two phases: First the active where the participants produce these mantra-like tones and stimulate the energy centres and then second, the meditative stage where they tune into their experience.
The workshop empowers the participants to take home the techniques offered and practice them on a daily basis. The workshop is complete in itself and is not one of levels. No experience necessary.

James D’Angelo, PhD is a very well established figure i

UK, BRECON, POWYS - Sound Healing and Nature Retreat, Paul Benham, Primrose haven, Felindre, Brecon, Powys, LD3 0ST, 12 Jun 2020

The weekend will integrate the healing power of nature into our healing voice work. We will work with the sounding traditions of people that lived close to nature and used sound to deepen their connection with their environment. Primrose Haven contains many beautiful gardens and natural spaces. The course will be held in the Sound Peace Chamber, the Celtic Roundhouse and in some outside spaces such as the Peace Garden, the Stone Circle with the four directions and elements, the Emissary Wheel and beside a mountain stream in the nearby woods. We will explore some of the deeper healing potential of nature and use sound to connect with this.
We will gain an understanding of the qualities of the elements - fire, water, earth and air - and explore our relationships to them and the way they influence our lives.
We will demonstrate the ways that sound can be used to heal ourselves and others and the healing power of sound in nature. Nature can provide a very supportive environment in whic
