THE HEALING POWER OF VOCAL SOUND: This workshop will be centred on producing various kinds of pulsating toning using vowels, consonants and seed syllables. These healing sounds are both externalized and internalized so that the end result is a form of meditation. Concordant with these practices will be natural sound rituals such as humming and keening. Some Taoist healing sounds will be introduced.
James d’Angelo has been developing and leading his Soundspirit courses since 1996 in the UK and the USA and is considered an authority in the sound healing field. He is the author of ‘The Healing Power of the Human Voice’ and ‘Seed Sounds for Tuning the Chakras’.
