The Gong is a very special instrument, it may produce all kinds of sounds, quiet and loud, it may sing, scream, cheer, it produces sounds rich in overtones, which magically surround us.
Sound vibrations touch us in a holistic way, every cell of our being.
Playing the Gong soft and gentle the sound vibrations invite us to let go of our thoughts, worries, being busy.… to simply listen….
Playing the Gong intensive and powerful, it brings into vibration all of our cells, it stimulates our self-healing forces and provides vitality. We regain strength and feel refreshed and lively.
Gongs belong to the oldest and most important music instruments of Southeast Asia. A mindful attitude and solid experience are the basis for a safe, effective, responsible and sensible usage of the Gong for ourselves as well as for groups and individual therapy work.
This seminar is aimed at those who like to deepen and experience their fascination for the Gong with background information and practical exercises for 1-2-1 sessions as well as gong baths.
Those who own a Gong will be asked to bring their Gong and mallets for practice. On request Gongs and mallets will be available for purchase.
