Coming soon, 31 May to 3 June, a family friendly festival celebrating Yoga and Music. The IYN Summer Yoga Festival is being held at the wonderful Gaunts House in Dorset There's a wide range of Yoga classes, talks and workshops from some of the UK's finest teachers. This years event has a special focus on sound with workshops on sound yoga, the listening body, mantra, singing voice and drum circles. There are talks on tantric art, Patanjalis sutras, chiropractic and Yoga, Yoga within mental health and addiction. On Saturday evening Roopa Panesar, British born female sitar player and world class musician is performing a concert of Indian Ragas accompanied by maestro Kousic Sen on tabla - a feast for the eyes and ears!!!

There are a few weeks to go until the IYN Festival of Yoga 2012. Although we are more than confident that the sun will shine, we would just like to stress that this is a WEATHERPROOF festival. Residential accommodation is still available in the house and all workshop sessions are held in comfortable, warm INDOOR spaces. The large mansion offers numerous spots in which to hang out while supping the free teas and refreshments or there's also a COSY chai tent, serving fine spicy tea and cakes! Outdoors there's acres of beautiful grounds to walk around, a swimming pool, lake, ancient trees, stone circle and of course a warm friendly welcome.
