Spirit of the Drum
This is a lovely piece of writing by Barbara, encapsulating the depth of where drum was, is and will be in our growing society. History teaches us that we can not predict the future, we can not see beyond our noses. If we wish to keep a certain set of values and project them into the future, an example being the drum in social balance and group medicine then we need to keep projecting, drumming and singing in the moment, knowing that our ancestors did this so that we can experience this tool as a gift in our lives.
